Together with your buddy take turns reading out loud the story to each other, help each other in understanding the terms you might not know yet.

Together with your buddy, find and write down answers to the following questions:
- How long have the boys been best friends?
- How and why did they start a quarrel?
- What could have been done to avoid this conflict?

What would you and your buddy do in such a situation?

Step 2
Now look back at your previously written most important element in a friendship and decide together on a topic to create a new story of two friends in a similar situation.
Following a similar structure of the story, write together a new imagined story including:
- a different backstory of a similar situation
- possible inciting incidents
- your and your buddy’s choice of action in such a situation
If you still feel like being creative, give your story a title and draw the cover of your story!
Share it with your friends and other people you love.

Reflect on your new story:
- What are the differences between the friends in the story of ‘The Red and Blue Cloak’ and the ones in yours?
- What are the positive and negative feelings around any conflict between friends?
- What should be the most important element(s) in a friendship?
- What will you do from now on whenever you and your friends have a conflict?
